Black Women for Biden-Harris 2020
For President of the United States of America
These are perilous times and we must take control of our destiny for ourselves, our families, and for future generations. We can do this by registering people to vote, voting ourselves face to face or, by mail, and helping to turn out a record number of voters, in the November 3rd election.

John Lewis Chair and Water Initiative
Black Women for Biden-Harris Launch “John Lewis Chairs & Water Election Day Initiative”
DENVER, CO—As part of the national movement to ensure that all voters have access to the polls in November, Black Women for Biden-Harris announces its “John Lewis Chairs and Water Initiative.” The goal of the program is to create a comfortable and accessible voting experience for elderly, pregnant, and access-challenged voters, in predominantly Black community precincts throughout the country, by providing at least 100 chairs and free water at polling locations.
“I can remember times in Ohio when my elderly parents had to stand in long lines at polling places. Sometimes they had to leave to go home before they voted because the wait was so long,” recalled Rev. Dr. Barbara Reynolds, Chaplain for Black Women for Biden-Harris, “It is critical to our democracy that every voice be heard and providing simple amenities like chairs and water can help make waiting in line to vote possible for many citizens.”
“We are calling on professional sports organizations like the NBA, who have demonstrated their leadership by offering their arenas as polling places, to support the “John Lewis Chairs and Water Initiative,” said Dr. Stephanie Myers, Senior Advisor to Black Women for Biden-Harris.
For more information, or to join the initiative, contact Pat Duncan, National Co-Chair, Black Women for Biden-Harris.
We believe communities of color must be a vital part of the decision-making process. We are dedicated to developing transformative ideas, reaching out to meet our communities where they are, and operating on National, State and Local levels as advocates and voices to express diverse perspectives on global and national matters. We are counting on Joe Biden to include our communities “at the table” in decision making about new policies, legislation, and programs that can uplift and improve our communities. We are dedicated to an agenda that addresses: Health Disparities; Criminal Justice Reform; Educational Equity; Violence Prevention; Domestic Violence Prevention; Employment Opportunities; Economic Development; Small Business Entrepreneurship; Stopping Voter Suppression and closing the Digital Divide.

Ready to Support Joe?
Our country is in crisis and we have a powerful voice that must be heard. Research reveals that the combined economic spending power of Black and Brown people in America exceeds 3.9 trillion dollars. In any country on the globe – THAT REPRESENTS POWER!!!
We are writing to ask that you shift your spending away from haircare, shoes, nails, new clothes and other discretionary options. Instead, consider investing a portion of your money into the 2020 election campaign.
Joe Biden needs our help. At this pivotal time in our nation’s history, he is our only choice to shift the direction of our country. In recent years, we have witnessed the divisive and incendiary rhetoric that has come from Washington. We have watched in despair and rage as unarmed black men have been killed by law enforcement officials. Our lives have been slowed down and irrevocably changed by the spread of coronavirus. Countless Americans have been laid off jobs. Businesses have closed and many will never reopen.
As we enter this election season it is time to put our money behind a candidate who represents – Positive Change!
There is so much at stake for our country right now. We are asking for your vote and a donation.
No amount is too small: 5.00; 10.00, 25.00, 50.00 100.00 or more…….Contribute now.
